Texas Vacation

This is Madeline with her 93-year-old great-grandmother. Madeline usually will not allow anyone she doesn't know to hold her, but she did not mind sitting with Great-Grandma.


Angelique had a Care Bear moment today at the children's museum in Fort Worth. My dad caught this picture. Now we know what you find at the end of a rainbow: Gigi.

Back Where I Come From

We listened to a Kenny Chesney song while driving into Texas on a 14 hour drive from Illinois, which had taken a 13 hour drive from Philadelphia. Madeline and Gigi had a hard time but were really amazing considering what we put them through. Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Payne, though, is worth it. They had never seen Madeline until last night and had not seen Angelique for two years. I can tell we are all going to enjoy these couple of weeks.
