Gigi violin update

Gigi has been practicing really hard on the violin lately! We usually get in 30-45 minutes a day during Madeline's nap. She has just learned O Come Little Children. Here it is for your listening pleasure :)

I'm pretty sure that makes you one of the best moms I know.

This is so amazing to me that she can even hold the violin not to mention play a song well! It is even more amazing to me since I have yet to hear you play yet, Bethany! I got your message, thank you. Bjorn and Matej have strep and ear infections so I was a bit worn out today but let's try again this weekend to talk! Good job, Gigi. I will show this to your boyfriend, Bjorn! :)You are amazing!

What a terribly beautiful noise! By the way I mean that to be nothing but a complement as I had many years of dedicated cat screeching myself and between my sisters and I there were a lot of dying cats in the house. I am so impressed with gigi's ability and for her age WOW. I am soooo impressed with the mama's dilligent teaching. I hope Gigi grows up to be just like her mama beautiful and talented. I miss you Beth I still think of you as a bosom friend.

AH! That was so cute! Way to go, Gigi, baby! My heart is full watching that. :)

And way to go, Bethany- I know it takes a lot of time and patience to get results from one so young.

That is awesome! I think that is wonderful that you are teaching her to play the violin! At this rate, someday she will play as beautifully as you do! Miss you Bethany. I miss orchestra and I miss running with you too!
