Madeline senior year reminiscing

It has been fun to come back to this blog decades after first getting it started. Our life keeps changing as does the world and the never ending change in technology. AI has really started changing the way we interact with the world. Our little family world is also changing so fast. I wish I could freeze time. A few weeks ago our family went to cafe rio (With Gigi's military discount haha) and as we all sat around together it felt like heaven. All of our children are still near us, they all like each other and us and we all just have fun and get along so well. It feels like paradise that I have this perfect family. In moments like this I can't imagine life being any better. Madeline is a senior and tonight finished her last application to college. She applied to 12 schools! She has worked so hard in high school to accomplish her goals. I'm so proud of her. It will be really fun to find out where she ends up going, but also nerveracking! It was so stressful waiting to hear back from schools when Gigi applied, but it all worked out as it should and I have faith that it will be the same with Madi. It reminds me of when I was applying to colleges. I only applied to 2 schools, BYU and the U of U. I got into both. I didn't think that I would get into BYU and was quite stressed about it. When I got in I remember feeling like it was a dream I was so happy! I will forever be grateful to HF that he helped me get into that school. It definitley changed my life!
