This is the Ben Franklin Parkway and those flags are most, if not all, of the nations of the world. It was a little bit cold, so we decided to find a place to spend our time inside. Fortunately, we were in front of the world's largest collection of Rodin statues outside of Paris. It's amazing what you can stumble into in Philadelphia.
The museum is free, but as generous art patrons we slipped a few bucks into the suggested donation box. I think that made the attendant staring at us bringing children into the exhibit a little less stoic. Actually, it didn't. But we introduced Angelique to world class art for at least the second time in her life. Madeline caught on to the artist's style of expressive posing right away.
We got to eat our lunch in front of the Gates of Hell. It was wonderful family time.

So glad you're having a good time and feel good enough to go out. Ok, so far Madeline looks a lot like Angelique, I think! She's cute!!!
That statue of The Thinker may have been the original. Rodin cast three out of the first mold and never said which was which. The French, of course, say they have it butwho knows. It is a wonderful and magical place that museum. One of my favorites.
Better to have lunch in front of Hell's gates than inside;)
That picture of Madeline reminds me of Gigi so much - not that she makes that face or anything :) I'm glad things are improving with the jaundice.
So I don't know if you answered this earlier but do you pronounce her name with a short i or a long i?
